April 24th Montpellier!

We've been here for 3 weeks and are feeling settled in, having explored a bit of the city and locating our local necessities (boulangeries, groceries gym, gelateries...)

I'll be using this space to post occasional updates along with photos for those who are interested.

We are incredibly lucky to be living in an ideal location, a 15 minute walk to Gary's lab, and a 20 minute walk in the opposite direction to the historic city center. There is a tram stop just a block from the house, and a frequented bus is just a couple of blocks further on. Our neighborhood is called Boutonnet and is filled with families and students (20% of the 300,000 population of the city are university students!) Our house is across the garden and pool from the home of Sophie and Behdad, our "landlords" (who couldn't be nicer people).
