May 14: Cévennes National Park and Mt. Aigouel
On Sunday we drove another hour north into Cévennes and hike to the top of Mt. Aigouel (alt. 1567 meters) where there is a weather station. Climbing from the warmth of the valleys to the cold brisk wind at the top reminded me of similar climbs of Mt Mansfield!
